These are fun to make and work up quickly. I usually keep a couple skeins of yarn in my project bag (see my favorite bag here (https://tinyurl.com/customprojectbag) so I can work on one while we are out and about at appointments or while my kids are at sports practice.
Grab your supplies and let's get started!

FYI:
This is not a tutorial. You should know basic crochet stitches and finishing techniques. This pattern uses:
ch: chain
sc: single crochet
dc: double crochet
st: stitch
This pattern uses most of one skein and measures approximately 9x9 once complete.
Turning chain does not count as a stitch.
Begin by chaining (ch) 33 or multiples of three if you would like to make them smaller or larger. If you would like to make them longer, just add as many rows as you would like.
Always begin and end your row with a sc.
Here we go...
Ch 33
R 1: Working in the back bump of your chain, sc in the second ch from the hook and in each back bump across, ch1, turn (32)
R 2-25: sc in the first st, *skip one stitch, sc/dc in the next st, repeat from * to the end of the row. You will finish each row with a sc and ch 1, turn (32)
R 26: sc across to give the end a finished look (32)
Finish off and weave in your end.
All done!
